Penelope Huang

Penny is an NPR junkie and sustaining member of her local NPR station KQED, which we can tell the time by, depending on what program is on. Penny is also a longtime member of two favorite listener-powered music radio stations from towns she used to call home: KCRW Eclectic 24 out of LA and KEXP out of Seattle, who recently started broadcasting in the Bay Area! She also loves it when her man DJs! When not working, you can find her taking long urban hikes and runs in the local parks, coercing her teenage kid to spend time with her, tending to plant, fungi, bacterial, yeast, and animal family members, and beating her partner at skeeball.
